B.B.King is Kirks hero and one of the biggest influences on his music and playing the Blues. Kirk had the honor to present the legendary Gibson B.B. King Lucille. The Gibson Custom Shop brought it back to life as a core Artist model in the ES lineup. The legend of Lucille was born in a fiery explosion. A dramatic and befitting origin story for a guitar that was virtually inseparable from the pioneering blues icon that played her, B.B. King. It’s clear that Lucille was more than just an instrument to B.B.; she was his voice and his expression.
